This program attracts women seeking to experience extended periods of silence, time for thoughtful reflection, and prayer in the company of other kindred souls.
In this time of Zoom gatherings, participants spend a brief time of welcome to start the morning, then move into hearing a facilitator-led poem or reading, often with suggested questions to ponder in silence. The program continues with 20 – 25 minutes of silence journaling, drawing, meditating, or walking outside in nature on your own. Called back to the Zoom screen, each woman is invited (never required) to share insights, life stories, & concerns. The session closes with an opportunity to lift up in prayer anyone in the world you feel called to ask for the prayers of your sisters-in-community that morning.
Within this supportive circle, participants experience the uniqueness and diversity of each spiritual journey and contemplative experience. Participants often depart our time together with clarity, peace, and hope about life in general or a particular issue they’re facing.
We invite you to join us! Please experience your first session for free (email Dianna here to get the Zoom Link) or register below ($10 per session).
Note: Effective March 2021, this gathering will have women from the circle take turns facilitating each session. The chosen reflection honors the intuition of the facilitator, as she discerns which poem or passage from a book will be used during her session. Longtime participant Ellen Sullivan will host the sessions on Zoom through 2021.
