Art, Play, Love

An Expansive Exploration of Play with Arts, Crafts, Writing, Music
 with Brooks Kasson

You’re invited to playfully unleash your creativity with us this holiday season. Brooks has crafted a rich community experience to support your creative exploration.

To find your naturally inquisitive and creative center, we’ll begin with a bit of group structure in a no-judgment setting. After that, you’ll have time with your favorite medium to create on your own. We’ll return to the group to share (if you choose) and to celebrate our flowing creativity.

“start anywhere.  just start.  trust the process.” –Brooks Kasson

A note from Brooks about why this might be right for you:

“sometimes i have trouble even beginning to play with my materials.  i will clean out kitchen drawers before i get around to entering my studio.  and i find that usually all it takes to create is a bit of a nudge, a slight encouragement, a date with myself in order to get started.  this playshop is just such a date – a playdate with yourself to help you get started, to restart, to add to or finish up anything you want to create….especially if you have no idea what that might be.”
