About the Event:
Join us for a Series of Virtual Conversations and Meditations with Spiritual Leaders
Begins August 2nd with Rabbi Rami Shapiro!
Our world will never go back to the way it was at the beginning of 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic, videos showing the worst of humanity, protests about racial injustice, and the upcoming presidential election all have us on edge and wondering where God or the Divine is in all of this.
As a contemplative community open to people of all faith traditions and walks of life, we’re reaching out to spiritual leaders of a variety of faith traditions to invite them to share with us a contemplative practice that helps them be with God, especially in stressful times. And, each speaker to share their thoughts on “seeing the Divine is in what’s unfolding in our country and world.”
We’re thrilled to announce Rabbi Rami Shapiro as our first spiritual leader participating in this new series. Whatever your faith tradition, Rabbi Rami will inspire you to experience “being with the Divine” in a new way.
“Religions are like languages: no language is true or false; all languages are of human origin; each language reflects and shapes the civilization that speaks it; there are things you can say in one language that you cannot say or say as well in another; and the more languages you speak, the more nuanced your understanding of life becomes.” –Rabbi Rami Shapiro
Specifically, Rabbi Rami will invite us to experience Passage Meditation through a selection of spiritual passages for these tumultuous times. And, he’ll share why he chose each passage as a doorway to being with God.
Come nourish your spirit and expand your spiritual horizons as you explore another way of Being with the Divine with Rabbi Rami Shapiro.
